Rwat (Real World Asset Tokenization)
Real world assets (RWA) is a term frequently used in the cryptocurrency market. It is the conversion of any assets or rights such as mines, metals, real estate, works of art, TV series, movies into smaller, divisible digital parts-tokens. These tokens are created thanks to blockchain technology, and each represents the right to own a portion of the actual asset.

Project detail
RWATs are defined from the project detail on Workcube.
- Project cost, revenue target and limits are important.
- The product to be tokenized must be selected.
- Depending on the selections made in the Token Type field, the fields on the page and the data to be entered vary. For example; When ERC-20 is selected, there is no need to fill in the IPFS fields
- The desired name is given to the wallet in the Web3 Wallet name field.
- The wallet address to be processed is entered in the Web3 Wallet address field. For example; Metamask
Tip: MetaMask is, in its simplest definition, an Ethereum (ETH) wallet. It works as an internet browser extension and can be installed simply like any browser add-on. After installing MetaMask and opening an account, users can store Ether and all other ERC-20 tokens in their wallets.
Once the relevant fields are filled in, they are saved. After saving, you will be directed to the detail page.
By clicking "Token" on the top right, you can go to the Token detail page.
- Token Name and Token Symbol are entered. The token symbol can be considered as a short name.
- Rwat Type field is taken from the product category to which the selected product belongs.
- When the info URL address is entered, it will remain registered on the Token. Naming should be done accordingly.
- Transaction Wallet address returns the Web3 Wallet address defined by default. It can be changed if a different wallet is desired to be used.
- After the relevant fields are registered, "Create Token" is clicked. When clicked, it redirects to Metamask and asks for confirmation via Metamask.
Attention!: Before this process, Metamask must be installed and an account must have been created on Metamask.
When approved via Metamask, the phrase "Contract transaction approved" will appear in the Token detail.
After the contract for the token is made, the minting page will open. Once the Token is created and approved, you cannot go back to the previous Token creation page. Every time "Token" is clicked on the top right, the minting page opens.
- Enter the quantity you want to mint and click "Token Minting". When clicked, it redirects to Metamask and asks for confirmation via Metamask.
- When approved via Metamask, the phrase "Minting successful" will appear in the Token detail.
Hint: The term Mining (Mint) is a term used in the cryptocurrency world and refers to the creation and use of a new digital asset. It refers to the process of adding to a blockchain.
