Cash Registers
The first step to start using Whops is the cash register.
Path: POS > Retail > Cash Registers

Cash name: The name of the cash register to be processed is defined.
Cash Code: The cash register code to be processed is defined. Attention: This defined code will be used in the "Pos Code" field when logging into whops.
Branch: The branch where the cash register will work is selected.
Integration Type: The integration in which the cash register will be processed is selected. Caution: This selection must be made if the chassis is intended to work on Whops. Otherwise, the cash register will not make any transactions.
Anonymous Customer ID: If the invoice issued in the whops is an unregistered individual/corporate account, the invoice is issued in the name of the individual account ID specified here, and the current-accounting-budget movement is made accordingly.
Sales in foreign currency: If this option is checked, sales in foreign currency are made through the products on the whops screens.
Category icon: If this option is checked, icons will appear on the category titles in the whops category list, if there is an icon.
New customer record and update: If this option is selected, it is allowed to update the information of the client selected on the whops screen or to add that client as a new record.
Serial no, lot no: If these options are selected, lot and serial based search can be made in the product filter search.
Quantity rounding: The selected number determines the number of digits after the comma for the amount on the whops screen.
Sales Price: The selected number determines the number of digits after the comma for the amount on the whops screen.
Transaction Type: Determines which transaction type will be recorded on the back side when the Whops invoice is recorded. According to this transaction type id, accounting-budget-current transactions are decided at the back. For example: 255: retail sales invoice - current-accounting is selected, budget is not selected.

The features that require transactions in the cash register are marked.
Attention: The cash register must be included in a price list. Otherwise, the cash register will not make any transactions. For more detailed information about price lists, you can read our article titled "Price Lists".
Product Categories
The products you want to sell on Whops must be categorized. After product category definitions are made, the "Show in Whops" option must be active. For more detailed information about product categories, you can read our article titled "Product Category Management".

At the same time, after selecting the integration type whops on the cash register screen, the "Let It Work with Whops" option should be selected on the relevant cash register screen. In other words, the "Work with whops" option must be selected in the detail of the "cashbox" that is connected to the branch we have selected in the cash register. Thus, the relationship through the branch is established.
So our example is as follows: In my definition of cash registers, "center" should be selected as the branch. Then, go to the cash registers screen and find the "headquarters" branch cash register and tick "Work with Whops" in it.

Products
The product to be sold on Whops must be included in a price list. The product is included in the price list associated with the cash register in the cash register definition and put on sale for the relevant cash register. The product can be included in more than one price list and offered for sale at different cash registers. To include the product in the price list; ERP > Products and Stocks > Products > Product Details > Price. After all necessary definitions are completed, you can log in with the desired cash register code and username/password information.

After logging in, the Whops home page welcomes us. On this screen, transactions can be made by going to the areas related to the Sales and Desks sections on the left side of the menu at the top.
On the right side of the menu, there is cash register information, cashier, date/time, Wiki for usage assistance and finally the exit button.
When the "Start to Sale" button is clicked, sales transactions are started.

There are Customer, Categories and Cart fields when logging into the system. Now let's explain them one by one.

1. In this area, you can select the customer for the sales transaction, and for a new customer registration, you can click on the "New Customer" button. Customers can be registered in two ways, corporate and individual.
When you click on the search button, you can list all customers defined in the system, and the desired customer can be reached by filtering.
By clicking the New Customer button, you can add new corporate and individual customers to the system.

For corporate customer registration, customer registration is defined by defining the company's Member number, Authorized Person, Tax transactions information and the address where the company is located.

2. Categories
In this area, the products to be sold are displayed collectively on a category basis. In order to select the desired product, you can click on the "Product Search" button and filter by Product name, Stock Code, Barcode, Serial Number.

By clicking on the product category to be processed, all products and prices defined in the relevant category are displayed.

Click on the area in the marked box and add the product to the cart. is added. One or more products can be added to the cart by entering a value in the quantity field.

The products added to the cart and the Total price amount of the products are displayed.
- N/C: This field is selected when you want to pay both in cash and by credit card.
- Credit Card: This field is selected when you want to pay only by credit card.
- Cash: This field is selected when you want to pay only in cash.
Attention: Before issuing an invoice, the customer must be selected in the Customer field. Otherwise, the system will give a "Please select a member" warning.
When the desired payment method is clicked, the "Payment" screen opens.

Enter the amount in the payment sections and click on the "Complete shopping" button. The invoice record is simultaneously saved on the "Retail Sales Invoices" screen.
