Construction Parametric Definitions
In Workcube project management, all information about a construction project is displayed together and all activities and records related to construction projects are managed from a single center. Before using the construction plug-in, all relevant parameters must be defined in accordance with the operation of the companies.

Discipline Codes
A discipline code is a code used to distinguish and define different engineering, architectural and technical fields (disciplines) involved in a construction project. When recording the contract, the appropriate discipline code is selected to indicate the scope of work involved.
- Discipline Code: Short code of the category (Ex: CST, CEL).
- Discipline Type Name: Full name of the category (Ex: Statics (Reinforced Concrete / Steel)).
- Description: Detail explaining what this category covers (Ex: HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing).
- Check Box (✔):Determines whether the code is selectable and active in the system.
Deduction Types
When preparing progress payments in construction projects, various types of deductions are applied depending on the contract and legal requirements. These interruption types are defined on the "Interruption Types" page in the system.
- Deduction Type Order: The sequence number of the list. In the progress payment detail, deductions come in this order.
- Deduction Type: Full name of the deduction (Ex: Manufacturing Deductions, Performance Guarantee).
- Company: Selects which companies this deduction type is valid for.
- Check Box. (✔): Determines whether this interruption type is selectable and active in the system.
Project Types
Used to define the types that will be used to classify projects. The project type is selected when saving the project. Definitions can be saved broken down if desired. A sub-breakdown is added when the + button next to the Defined Project Type is pressed. In such records, the upper definition cannot be selected when saving the project.
- Project Type: Full name of the project category.
- Check Box (✔): Whether this project type is selectable and active in the system.
Contract Categories
The categories defined here are selected when creating contracts and used in reporting/grouping contracts.
- Category: Full name of the contract category.
Contract Party Roles
Persons associated with the contract (both internal employees) as well as external parties) is used to define standard roles that can be assigned.
- Role: Full name of the role.
- Role Type: Determines the nature of the role. (Party/Employee)
- Company: Selects which companies this role is valid for.
- Checkbox (✔): Whether this role is selectable and active in the system
Contract Special Definitions
Apart from standard contract types or categories, it is used to create "Special Definitions" for company-specific grouping or labeling needs. The tags defined here are displayed in the "Custom Description" field on the contract creation screen.
- Custom Description: The name of the custom label or group that will be used to classify the agreement.
- Company: Selects which company(s) this custom description applies to.
- Approval. Box (✔): Determines whether this specific definition is selectable and active in the system.
Responsibility Matrix Templates
Since Construction Projects involve many stakeholders such as architects, subcontractors and employers, Leaving responsibilities in the gray area causes delays and budget overruns. Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM) is one of the most critical documents that clarify "who does what" in the complex structure of a project.
- Definition of Responsibility: Definitions can be recorded in a broken down form if desired. A sub-breakdown is added when the + button next to the Defined Responsibility Definition is pressed. The number is automatically defined by the system.
- Notes: It is defined in case additional clarification is needed regarding the definition.
- Employer/Contractor/Invalid: Who will do it is determined.
Addendum Types
A construction addendum is an additional document that documents official changes made within the scope of a construction project. During the project, updates regarding material changes, work plan revisions or legal situations are recorded with this document.
- Addendum Type: Identifies what type of change it is. For example; Types such as Quantity Change, YBF (New Unit Price), Time Extension indicate the nature of the revision.
- Check Box (✔): Determines whether this special definition is selectable and active in the system.
