Time Deposit Transactions
Various time deposit transactions such as depositing various deposits, transferring the deposit to account, yield calculations and rediscount can be performed on Workcube.
Path: ERP > Finance - Accounting > Bank > Deposit Term Deposit to Account
Some preliminary definitions must be made in order to perform time deposit transactions.
- Process category definitions should be made on the Control Panel > BPM > Process Categories page. "Accounting Transaction" and "Perform Budget Transaction" checkboxes and authorized positions must be selected.
- Bank accounts must be created. For detailed information, you can read the article titled "Definition of Bank Accounts".
- "Withholding Tax Rate" etc. bank parameters should be made on the Control Panel > System > Parameters page.
- Accounting charts of accounts should be defined. For detailed information, you can read the article titled "Accounting Chart of Accounts".
- Budget items must be created. For detailed information, you can read the article "Budget Categories and Budget Items".
- Cost/Revenue centers should be created. For detailed information, you can read the article "Expense and Income Centers".
Depositing a Time Deposit Account
Making various definitions in order to deposit a time deposit account.

- Transaction Type: Transaction types can be selected according to the transaction category definitions. "Time Deposit Transaction" and "Periodic Return Deposit Transaction" can be selected.
- Process: It is determined at what stage the process of the transaction is.
- From Which Account - To Which Account:From which account the time deposit will be deposited to which account is selected according to the bank accounts opened on the system.
- Login. Branch - Exit Branch: Entry and exit branches are selected.
- Project: If the time deposit is related to a project, this can be added.
- Document No: Document number is entered.
- Date: Transaction date is selected.
- Amount: The amount to be deposited into the time deposit is entered.
- Foreign Currency Amount:The foreign currency equivalent of the amount is automatically received.
- Maturity: The number of days of maturity and the date it will remain in the deposit are determined.
- Rate of Return - YGS:The rate of return is entered as a percentage and how many days this return is equal to.
- Return Amount: The total return amount changes automatically depending on the return rate and day. When we change the return amount, the return rate automatically changes accordingly.
- Periodic Return Table: Depending on the return payment period selection, the date and amount of the return are displayed. Return payment periods are shown in a table as monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months, annually, specially and at maturity. When Special is selected, the number of days after which the return is required to be transferred to the account is entered. Example: To see the return of a deposit with a 365-day maturity in a tabular form every 10 days, the return payment period must be selected as "Special" and "10" must be written in the day field.
- Number of Return Collections: The number of return collections is automatically based on the period selected in the periodic return table. income.
- Financial Scenario Type: The status of the financial scenario type can be revealed according to the parametric definitions made. Example: Optimistic, Pessimistic, etc.
- Explanation: An explanation regarding this transaction can be added.
- Budget Item Accrual: Selection of budget item for accrual according to the budget item definitions made.
- Budget Item Collection: Budget item selection can be made for collection according to the budget item definitions.
- Expense: From the Expense section, the cost amount of this transaction, cost center and budget item selections can be made.
- Transaction Money Unit: Transaction currency selection is made.
After the transaction details are completed, the "Save" button is clicked.
Changes can be made on the detail screen of the transaction and the offset slip of this transaction can be viewed on the upper right. Except for the offset slip; If desired, documents and notes related to this transaction can be added, transaction details can be printed and another similar transaction can be performed by creating a copy of the transaction.

If the "List" icon is clicked, It goes to the "Bank Transactions" screen. Term Deposit transactions made here can be listed by selecting them from the filter options.

Term Deposit Yield List
The yield list of term deposit transactions is available on this screen. If desired, the return list can be listed according to transaction date ranges, maturity date ranges, person recording the transaction, bank account and rediscount valuation date.
Details of the listed returns are located in the basket area. If desired, the details of each return can be updated and the collection status is displayed in the list.

All details are visible in the time deposit return account detail. Here, if desired, you can withdraw all the money in the time deposit account with the "Withdraw Principal Money" button. Transactions can be made under the Yield Table and Rediscount Table. The rediscount table will be discussed in the next section.

When you go to the update screen of a return, you can switch to a term deposit income account. Here, the following transactions can be made, unlike depositing into a time deposit account:

- Day Difference: The number of days before the maturity date is automatically displayed when the maturity proceeds are transferred to the account. Attention: Doing this may result in loss of return!
- Withdraw Principal: When this selection box is selected, the principal amount appears automatically. This can be selected to withdraw all the principal money in the time deposit account.
- Total Discount Value: The rediscount value can be entered.
- First Return Amount: The first return amount comes according to the transaction made here.
- Loss of Return: As a result of the transfer of the time deposit to the account. The amount of loss of return that may occur comes automatically.
- Net Return Amount: The net return amount comes here according to the loss of return.
- Withholding Tax Rate and Withholding Amount: When the selection is made according to the withholding tax rate definitions, the withholding tax amount comes automatically.
- Net Total: Withholding tax amount is calculated from the return amount. decreases and thus the net total appears automatically.
The transaction is completed by clicking the "Save" button. On the Term Deposit Yield List screen, the "Collection" status on the far right in the basket area becomes green.
Term Deposit Yield List Rediscount
To perform the rediscount transaction, go to the Term Deposit Yield List screen and enter the date in the "Rediscount Valuation Date" filter detail. When you make a list like this, details about the rediscount appear in the basket area and according to the selections made, when you click on the "Perform Income Transaction" button at the bottom right, the rediscount process is completed.

Now, on the Term Deposit Yield Account Details screen, the offset slips of these transactions are in the Rediscount Table field. viewable.
