Barcoding can be done on a product basis from the product detail and can be made mandatory depending on company flow parameters. When you want to create barcodes in bulk or make mass changes, the "Assign Bulk Barcode" work function is used. By assigning a bulk barcode, a bulk barcode can be created according to product category, supplier, brand, brand and supplier or product name.

Path: Control Panel > System > Utility > Assign Bulk Barcode

The page works in two ways: barcode creation and barcode change, and a checkbox selection must be made. If not done, a warning will appear to select the Checkbox. Active/Passive status works depending on the product.

One of them assigns barcodes to those who do not have a barcode, the other changes the existing barcodes. Therefore, checkboxes cannot be selected at the same time.

Create Barcode: Create barcode is used for products that do not have a barcode. When checked, new barcodes are created depending on the selection criteria.

Change Barcode: Used if the products have existing barcodes and want to be changed. When checked, old barcodes are deleted and new barcodes are created depending on the selection criteria.

Filter Options

By Product Category: Allows barcode assignment or barcode change based on product categories according to the selected checkbox. When checked, the product category selection opens. Barcodes of products related to certain product categories or products related to all product categories are created.

By Supplier: When checked, the supplier selection opens and allows barcode assignment to be made on the basis of products supplied from the selected supplier.

By Brand: Brand selection is made. Products of the selected brand are listed and barcode assignment is made by making the relevant selections.

By Brand and Supplier:Brand and supplier selection is made. The products of the selected brand and supplier work with the condition "and". In other words, the brand and supplier selected on the product must both be defined. If the brand is selected in the product detail but the supplier is empty or different, it will not appear in the list.

By Product Name: The name of the relevant product is written in the filter field. The value written to the filter does not have to be exactly the same. For example, when inch is written, all products with "inch" in the product name will appear.

Listing and saving steps

One of the Create Barcode or Change Barcode checkboxes is selected.
The appropriate option from the Product Category, Supplier, Brand, Brand and Supplier, Product Name options is selected.
Listing can be done by clicking the search button.
Selection is made from the checkboxes next to the products. By default, all products are selected and the selections can be deselected manually if necessary.
For barcode assignment, press the "Save" button. It does not take action unless the Save button is pressed.

Attention:“Change Barcode” and “Create Barcode” checkboxes affect the main barcode of the product. The "Other Barcode" field on the product card must be edited manually.
