Workcube Language Sets
There are two basic language sets in Workcube. It is the language set presented by code in the interface and the language set connected to the database. Words and expressions in the Workcube interface are saved through the Dictionary and their meanings in other languages can be entered. On the Special Languages page, there are words that are not intended to be affected or changed by the edits and upgrades.
1. It is the language set presented with the code in the interface. This language set is part of the coding. If the word does not have an equivalent in that language when the system language is changed, "?" sign appears. If the language is not set, it remains constant no matter which language is selected.
When the Dictionary button is clicked, words and expressions in the system can be displayed. The equivalents of the items recorded here in other languages can be entered via this popup. First of all, there are tens of thousands of words and expressions in the dictionary. To list them, selections can be made according to modules, dates of addition, and languages. If you want to find exact matches when searching for any word, the "Fetch only exact matches" button should be checked.
The equivalents of the word in other languages can be updated by clicking on the pencil icon in the line of the expression displayed in the basket area, and the code of the dictionary ID can be copied with the button at the end of the line.
When you want to add a new word, click on the "+" button as seen in the image below. Afterwards, the word is entered and its meanings in other languages can be entered if desired. It must also be selected which module this word is related to.
There are two selection boxes when adding a word. These are the "Not Affected by Upgrade When Selected" and "Save to Institution-Specific Dictionary" selection boxes.
When these are checked and the word is saved, even though the system is upgraded, there will be no change in this word, even though there are changes in the dictionary.
