Departments
If a branch does not have a department in human resources, that branch is not yet usable. For this reason, a department definition should be made for the branch. A department is defined with the Workcube Departments page.

Departments Listing Screen

- On the listing screen, the departments we have created for the company and branch are listed. If the departments are listed by selecting the company and branch under the More button, the relevant department can be easily found. You can go to the update screen with the help of the pencil icon.
- Using the plus icon, you can go to the registration screen to create a new department.
- The fields on the registration and update screen on the department page are the same. Let's examine the fields with the update screen.
Departments Registration Screen

1. In the section;
If you want it to be displayed in the organization chart, the "Show in Organization Chart" option is selected. The created department cannot be deleted, it can only be inactive.
2. In the department;
Type: Department type section is important. Department, Warehouse and Warehouse and Department options are available in department types. Attention: A warehouse or department type must be defined for at least one department of a branch in the system. If the department type is selected, it is defined as the department used only by human resources and under which the employees are located.
- If the warehouse type is selected, an employee cannot be added under the department. It becomes one of the warehouses used in accounting and production.
- If the Warehouse and Department type is selected, this department becomes a warehouse that can accommodate both employees and accounting transactions.
Department Category/Type: Department categoriesHR-HR > Planning > Added via Organizational Planning > Department Categories. The department type is defined via HR-HR > Planning > Organization Planning > Department types. The relevant one is selected from the defined categories and types.
Number of Employees, Department Name: If the department type is not selected as warehouse only, the number of employees is entered. The name of the department is entered.
E-Mail, Details: If there is an e-mail and detailed information is desired, it is entered in these fields.
Parent Department: There is no field in which we define the parent department separately. First of all, the department is defined in the system. If a hierarchy is desired to be established between these departments, the previously defined department is selected in this field. The newly created department becomes a sub-department of the selected department.
Note: Similarly, the child-superior department option can be used to connect departments hierarchically in the organizational chart.
Manager, Hierarchy and Special Code: First and second manager is selected. The branch used for authorization and special reporting is the hierarchical configuration section used for sections that ignore branch authorizations.
- Accounting code is defined for the department from the Accounting code section in the top menu.
- Changes made can be seen in the History section.

It is used to define the departments in the organizational structure.

A tel field has been added to the Departments add and upd event. This process was performed with duxi. We also added div_col and label_ col attributes to Duxi. With these attributes;
