How to Update Roles - Positions? To do this, click on the position link in the position column on the positions screen.
When you click on the position link, you will see a screen where you can update the relevant position and perform different operations (authorization, cost definition, etc.).


The update screen is different from the registration screen.
In field number 1;
Whether the position is actively used or not is determined by the Active selection box, whether the employee in the position can enter the system or not by the Master selection box, whether it has an important role or not by the Critical selection box, and whether the hierarchical system will be shown in the organization chart or not "In the Organization Chart" Specified by the "Show" selection box. With Senior HR authority, it is possible to view and authorize branches in the branch list, even if there is no authority for the branch. In order to grant Senior HR authority, you must have Senior HR authority.
In field number 2;
Opening Date, Observation Period, Dynamic Hierarchy fields are displayed.
Opening date refers to the registration date of the position and is automatically assigned, it cannot be changed.
Observation Period can be specified if there is an observation period for the employees who will work in the position.
The department specified for the position in the first field of the dynamic hierarchy. The hierarchy codes in the company/region/branch/department/position types in the breakdown are displayed. In the second field, you can specify a hierarchical code of your own choosing.
In the Task Start/End Date field, in case of a position change, you can specify the date the change was made in this field.
In field number 3;
If the employee is specified in the position, the position of the employee is displayed in this field. Likewise, for employees who hold more than one position, all positions held are displayed in this field. The tab is opened and closed with the V sign on the right side of the field.
In field number 4;

There are many other functions such as the authorities and responsibilities that this position will have, the qualifications required for the position, career planning and position cost. If we consider these functions in detail;
Warnings; While on the Position screen, by following the steps "Communication > Add Warning", the responses regarding the added approval request and warnings are displayed on the warnings screen.
Hint:
This warning/information pops up on the screen of the authorized person selected for the added warning/information. is displayed.
History; The history of changes such as position, position type, department etc. made in the position card is kept.
Career Planning; The upper positions and lower positions defined for the position type specified in the position card and the qualification definitions for these positions. you can view. - Authorities and Responsibilities;
There are authorities and responsibilities given to employees in every business. In Workcube, this information is kept on the position card. To access this information, you can access this information from the "Authorities and Responsibilities" link under the Other drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the position card (position update screen).
The authority and responsibility information displayed in the position detail automatically comes from the duty and responsibility information defined in the "Position Type". Apart from this, you can also add authority and responsibility information in the position details. For detailed information, see Position Types - Reserves and Supervisors;
Within the Workcube role planning setup, you can select substitute supervisors or employees to be consulted for a position. This function enables leave processes, performance evaluation processes or backups for vacant positions on Workcube.
On this screen; The information in the position field will automatically bring up the person working in your current position on the update screen. This field will be empty for a position to which no employee has been assigned. You can use this field to specify an employee.
In the Supervisors field, the 1st Supervisor and 2nd Supervisor fields automatically bring the department managers specified in the position detail to this field, but they can be changed. You can also use these fields to determine different supervisors.
Opinion: It is used to specify the manager to whom the evaluations (such as performance evaluation) will be made for the employee in the position to be reported. In the Reserves area, you can select employees who can be assigned to this position in case the employee in the position is appointed to another position or the position is vacated. If you click the "Save" button after specifying the required information, this information will be saved and displayed in the Supervisors and Substitutes list. - Employee Entry and Exit;
On the update screen, if an employee is assigned to your position and if this employee is dismissed/signed in, it can be displayed. Thanks to this function, information can be obtained on which units the employee in the position worked and on which dates. To do this, click on the "Employee Entry and Exit" link under the Other drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the position update screen. When you click on this link, you will see the “Employee Entry and Exit” screen.
Employee;
If there is an employee assigned to the position, you can view the information (e-profile card) of this employee. You can do this by clicking on the "Employee" link under the Other drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the position update screen.
