Fixed assets are objects used as an investment tool in financial markets, whose value is expected to remain constant or increase. Examples may include real estate, jewelry, works of art, antiques, commercial land, and even some derivative instruments. Fixed assets are generally preferred for long-term investments and are less sensitive to short-term value fluctuations. In order to track and manage their value, it is necessary to have expertise in both fixed assets and Workcube.
Management of fixed assets is a challenging task as it takes into account many factors and variables. Managing fixed assets with Workcube can provide the following advantages:
- Automation: Operations such as tracking the value of fixed assets, portfolio management and reporting can be carried out automatically. This saves time and resources.
- Centralization: In the Workcube Fixed Assets module, the information and performance of all fixed assets are collected and managed in one place. Thus, more conscious decisions can be made in decision making.
- Accessibility: With Workcube, management of fixed assets can be done from anywhere and at any time.
- Analysis: The performance and value of fixed assets can be analyzed with analytical tools. Thanks to this approach, more accurate decisions are made for future investments.
- Reporting: The performance and values of fixed assets can be presented in reports. It enables investors, stakeholders, managers and other interested parties to easily monitor the status of fixed assets.
Let's examine how to use the Fixed Assets page.
Attention: Before using the Fixed Assets page, it must be ensured that the processes and transaction categories associated with the page are defined correctly. It should be checked whether the user who will use the page has all the permissions associated with the page. It is also necessary to make definitions in the Fixed Asset Categories parameter.
Records to the Fixed Assets page come from the fixed asset purchase screen. You can read how Fixed Asset Buying is done in the article titled "Fixed Asset Buying-Selling".
When fixed assets are recorded in the system, they are centrally collected on a single page. It is possible to filter these fixed assets according to some keywords and asset-invoice number.
With a detailed filtering, it is possible to expand the filter scope according to depreciation method, accounting code, fixed asset category, asset type, sorting type, entry-record dates and system number.
