Production Planning Processes and Process Categories
In order to ensure correct functioning in the Production Planning module, processes and process categories must be defined correctly.
Attention: In order to perform operations in the Production Planning module, the user must first have authority to the Production Module under ERP in the Authorization Group to which the user belongs.
Authority Groups
Path: Control Panel > System > Security > Authorization Groups
In order to perform operations in the Production Planning module, the user must first have authority to the Production Module under ERP in the Authorization Group to which the user belongs.
If the user needs to see Production-related reports in Standard Reports outside the module, the Report User box must also be checked.

Processes
Path: Control Panel > BPM > Processes
You can define more than one authority group in the process stages and assign predetermined positions to these authority groups. Thus, a position may be authorized at one or more stages of one or more processes. For detailed information about the processes, you can review the Process Management and Workflows document.
In order to manage Production Planning processes, you must first have authority over all relevant processes. You can see these processes by clicking Control Panel > System > Page Settings on the relevant pages;
You can access the process detail by clicking on it or from the Processes page;
You can select the people who will be authorized for the relevant process from the "Maker" field in the stage detail in the processes.

Process categories determine which operations will be performed in the background. You can also access the process categories that need to be defined on the page by clicking Control Panel > System > Page Settings on the relevant pages;
The following process categories are used to perform operations in the Production Planning module. must be defined;
Consumable Receipt
Used for materials used as input in production. It means that the materials are consumable and used for production. Material can be consumed from the workstation or warehouse. Consumable plug is an output plug.
Fire Plug
It has the same feature as the consumable plug. However, it is used to indicate the amounts of materials that are wasted during production operations, not those used for production.
Production Release Receipt
It is a type of receipt that indicates the quantities of main products and other outputs produced.
Warehouse Receipt
It is a type of receipt that indicates the quantities of materials transferred from the warehouse to the workstation, semi-finished products transferred from the workstation to the workstation, and finished products transferred from the workstation to the warehouse.
