CLO3D Workcube Integration
Traditional design, product development and management of textile and fashion products is a long process that often takes a long time and requires countless hours of work and materials. CLO3D enables three-dimensional design of fashion products and creation of artificial production details. Products designed with CLO3D work by integrating with Workcube model, product and production modules.
CLO3D XML
A product has production stages after design. For example, after moulding, cutting, overlocking and sewing, accessory details such as buttons, buttonholes, bows etc. can be given as an example. Topstitching, graphics, printing, shrinkage, piping etc. in garment details. components are available.
Now let's talk about the BOM in CLO3D's XML.
- Pattern corresponds to the pattern and we select it from the process type in the Component type in Workcube. Patterns are given in detail under the pattern list. Here are the features of the pattern such as fabric name, ID and area. Accessories such as belts, belt buckles, pads, and zippers that we create in CLO3D come under Pattern in Bom. Values in the pattern: Name, FeatureCod, ID, ConsumptionArea, ConsumptionAreaunit, FabricName, FabricID.
- Later, ColorWay details are given under the Garment heading. ColorWay corresponds to the name we gave in the assortment of the garment we created.Values in ColorWay correspond to the fabric list Name, FeatureCod.
- FabricList. When creating a product in Workcube, we select it as the main material in the Component type. There are Fabric ID, Name, values under FabricList.
- Buttonhead list. In Workcube, Component type is selected as Accessory Details. Values in ButtonHeadList: ID, Name.
- ButtonHoleList comes as buttonhole, we select it as Operation type in Component type. The values in ButtonHole correspond to ID, Name .
- TopstitchList topstitch, and we select it as a process of Component type in Workcube. The values in Topstitch are ID, Name.
- ColorwaySnapshotList gives a snapshot of the clothing and avatar. Added to the image section in Workcube. Values in ColorwaySnapshot: FilePath.
- Avatar,Values in Avatar: Name, FeatureCod
In the next stage, the directions and placements of the button and buttonhole are specified.
- ButtonHeadList values: ButtonHead, Name, FeatureCod, ID, Angle, AngleUnit, ButtonHeadStyleName ( Special Name of the Button ), ButtonHeadStyleID
- ButtonHoleList values given: Name, FeatureCod, ID, Angle, AngleUnıt, BindPosition, BinPositionUnit, ButtonHoleStyleName, ButtonHoleStyleID
Then placement values:
- Placement Unit, Center_Up, Center_Left, Center_Down, Center_Right
Then, the values are given for the Style names we gave for Button and Buttonhole. These are:

Values given under Material2DList for Front, Back and Sides of Molds:

- Separate values are given for the front, back and side parts of the molds.

- PrintLayout talks about the printing layout. We can select the Component Type from the operations in the Workcube. Values: Name, FeatureCod, ID, Print: RollWidht
- It also gives values that indicate which fabric will be printed on. Fabric: FabricName,FabricID
Graphic-related values that we then applied:
- GraphicList, Component Type can be added in Workcube. Graphic, Name, FeatureCode.
- Information about which mold we applied is also given. Pattern: ID, Name.
- ArtworkSize: Widht, WidhtUnit, Height, HeightUnit, WidthSizeRatio, HeightSizeRatıo, SizeRatioUnit
- PrintTextureWe can add it as a Component type in Workcube. R0, R1, R2, R3, X, Y (Gives the directions of the print.)
- PointList Values: Values: GID, PatternGID, Type, blockState
- PointIndex values(Determines the points): Index
- We moved on to the Sewing section, values: Name, FeatureCod

- In CLO3, if the garment's pattern is exported as Gerber (DXF - AAMA), it can be given to Gerber cutting machines to make a pattern. possible.
