Product Details and Product General Parameters
Group companies that manage more than one company on Workcube can perform joint product management. In joint product management, it is possible to adjust the general settings of the product separately for each company.
Path: ERP > Sales-Distribution > Product and Stocks > Products
On the left side of the product registration screen, there are boxes that determine the behavior and features of the products. On the right side, there are fields where the product's identification information is entered.
When adding a product to the system, the following operations are performed with the boxes on the left side of the screen;
Status: The active or passive nature of the product is determined. A product defined in the system in Workcube cannot be deleted. It can only be deactivated.
Included in Inventory: Both stocks and service items are recorded on the products page. In order to keep physical stock records of the products, the "Included in Inventory" box must be checked. This box is not selected in service definitions.
Produced: This box must be selected for products produced by the company. Products whose production box is not selected cannot be processed in the production module. Product trees cannot be defined.
On Sale: Selected for products and services sold. If this box is not selected, the product or service will not be displayed in the product lists in sales orders, invoices and sales quotes.
Supplied: Used for purchased products and services. If this box is not checked, this product or service cannot be selected in the product lists on purchase quotes, purchase orders and invoices.
Prototype - Customizable: This box must be checked for products produced or sold in different configurations. For example; If you are producing a sofa and selling it with different fabric coverings, different leg types, and different wood types, you should tick this box for that product. Thanks to its customizable option, Workcube allows its users to carry out production and sales by creating multiple variations in their product trees without opening a new product or stock card.
Internet: If you want to create an e-commerce site (B2C) and sell this product on Workcube, it must be checked.
Extranet: If you want to manage B2B sites such as dealer portal on Workcube and want this product to be displayed on that B2B portal (for example, on the order taking screen), it should be checked.
Libra: This box should be selected for products that are sold by weight. If this box is not selected, the price information of that product cannot be sent from the system to the scale.
Mixed Parcel: It is a single product consisting of more than one product. For example; Ramadan Package, Computer Package. Click for detailed information about Karma Parcel.
Zero Stock: This box should be selected for products that are intended to be sold even if they are not in stock. Products with zero stock are not displayed in the product list when taking orders. When this box is checked, the products are displayed in the list and orders can be taken.
Limited in Stock: If you want to limit the products sold on the internet to stocks, check this box. (In this case, more products than the specified stock amount cannot be sold.)
Serial Number: This box should be selected for products that require warranty and serial number tracking. When this box is checked, order, delivery and warranty tracking operations can be done via the serial number.
Lot Number: In order to track the Lot number of the product, the "Tracking" box must be checked. If this checkbox is not selected, it will not be possible to select or define a lot number for this product on other pages that require lot number tracking.
Cost: If this box is checked, the cost of the product will be tracked in stock and purchasing transactions.
Quality Control: In order to track quality information about the product, this box must be marked as "Following".
POS Commission: This option should not be selected for products for which you do not want POS commission fee to be calculated for credit card sales. In this way, commission calculation can be prevented for service products that may be fixed, such as shipping costs, and for which commission does not need to be calculated, but must be included in invoices and orders
Watalogy: If the "Integrate with Watalogy" option is selected in the company flow parameters, this box will appear in the product detail. If the integrated box is selected, it will be listed in the watalogy project being worked on and put up for sale in marketplaces.
Gift Certificate: Gift Certificates are registered as products in the system. After it is registered as a product, this box is checked, followed by the Validity Date field. Here, the number of days that the gift voucher will be valid for is given. If the day is not entered, the gift certificate will be indefinite.
Product General Parameters
Product parameters in Workcube can be used differently for each company. To do this, you must first select your company in Control Panel > System > General Settings > Company Flow Parameters and save the "Should product parameter information be displayed depending on the company?" option as "Yes".
NOTE: If you want to keep the products separately in each company, these arrangements will be made individually. You need to do this not in one company, but in all companies.
Then, when you go to the product details, you will see the warning "You must save the changes in this field in the Product Parameters!" in the area where the parameters are located. This warning tells you that you should now make the edits from the Product General Parameters, not from the product detail screen.
Then, open the Other > Product General Parameters page in the links at the top right of the product detail and make the necessary edits.
For example,; If the product registered in the system is produced in the production company and not produced in the trading company but only sold, the "Produced" box must be checked by selecting the production company. In a trading company, it should not be selected.
In this screen, unlike the product detail parameters, there is a "Come in XML" box. This box is used to export products. For example; When you sell your products on e-commerce sites, you send them the products as code, that is, XML.
