Agile Project Management and Implementation
In projects using traditional methods, a long time is spent for the analysis and design process. All requirements of the project are tried to be anticipated within this time period. No matter how well planned, software projects have deficiencies. It may cause problems that need to be done while executing the project. For all these reasons, traditional methods are likely to fail. Agile is a faster and more efficient project management style. It focuses on producing the most valuable output in the shortest time. The most common use of Agile is software development and implementation projects.

Workcube has adopted the Agile approach and Scrum methodology. It is based on the idea of short-cycle output generation and feedback. The project team is in constant communication. The Project Leader plans cycles of up to two weeks, called "Sprint Planning". Distributes the work to be done to the project team. The results of the jobs are returned as “Backlog”. When the returned tasks are completed without errors, they are closed, and the missing ones enter the cycle again.
In sprint cycles, the team holds frequent but short meetings. In no more than 15 minutes, each team member briefly states their progress. These meetings, which are held every day and do not exceed 15 minutes, are called "Daily Scrum Meeting". The results are regularly monitored on the "Kanban Board" as follows.
When the sprint ends, a "Sprint Review" report is issued and the problems that occurred during the sprint are eliminated and the next sprint is relieved. Features and functions completed within the Sprint can be shown to the customer or customer representative. Requirements are selected again for a new sprint and the sprint life cycle begins again.

In Workcube, all projects are carried out with Workcube Project Management. Task stages and categories are key indicators for tracking the progress of tasks. As a result of sprint meetings, tasks should be regularly updated by the project leader and the team. In summary, the Agile Project Management approach is a universal approach chosen for Workcube implementation.

Screen-1: Using Kanban in Workcube Projects
Kanban Board
In Workcube projects, tasks are tracked on the kanban board. Kanban Board makes it easier for the project team and the customer to track the project. As it is known, Kanban means board in Japanese. This technique, which allows tasks and stages to be seen on a single dashboard, enables easier and more efficient management of software and consultancy projects. Workcube PMS - Kanban, one of the Project Management System tools, means online job board.
Attention
In all Workcube projects, it is mandatory to use the private intranet offered by Workcube for project management.
