Foreign Exchange Buying/Selling Transaction
Foreign Exchange buying and selling transaction is the screen where transfer (transfer) is made between bank accounts in the same branch of a bank, both in different currencies and in the same currencies.

Foreign Exchange Buying/Selling Transaction New Record
Let's examine the fields on the foreign exchange buying and selling transaction record screen.

In Section 1;
Transaction Type: In the Transaction type section. "Bank Transfer" type is selected. Note: New transaction types can be added via Control Panel > Transaction Categories.
From Which Account, To Which Account: Transfers between accounts will be made, bank account selections are made.
Recommendation: New bank account ERP > Finance Accounting > Bank > Bank Added via accounts. To get more detailed information, you can read our article "Defining Bank Accounts".
Exit Branch, Entry Branch: The branch of the account selected from which account is selected as the exit branch. The branch of the account selected in the Which Account section is also selected in the entry branch section.
Project, Document No: If it is a project-related transfer, a project selection must be made. The document number is given automatically through the system. Manual editing can be done.
Amount, Foreign Currency Amount: The currency of the entered amount is the currency of the selected account. Attention: The system calculates the foreign currency amount at the daily rate according to the selected date and the foreign currency amount is automatically displayed. Manual edits can be made.
2. Section;
When a transfer is made from account to account, if an expense is incurred or if the transfer is intended to be recorded as an expense, this is entered in the expense section. In order to carry out transactions regarding the budget, budget categories and budget items must be defined in the system.

Listing Screen
Bank transfer transactions, the listing screen can be accessed via ERP > Finance-Accounting > Bank > Bank Transactions. The relevant document number is entered to view the relevant transfer slip. Or, all bank transfer slips can be listed by selecting the transaction type, Bank Transfer.

The bank module has a familiar and simple structure. Like other W3 applications that perform monetary transactions, accounting, budget and current records are made simultaneously with the "Transaction Type" settings. Every transaction is recorded in three currencies. The Bank Transactions screen allows you to record and track your transactions such as account opening, deposit, withdrawal, incoming/outgoing transfer and transfer in all bank accounts belonging to your company.
