Authority Groups

Authority groups are designed to facilitate user management by grouping users. In Workcube, the concept of user means role-position. Users, ie roles-positions, must be connected to at least one authorization group. If the User-Role is not part of an authorization group, the system cannot access it. A user role can be included in more than one authority group.

Route: Dashboard > System > Security > Authority Groups

Authority Groups are organized at two levels. The first level is the module level.

Power User: It is the user who can make module settings, add and change parameters, and edit pages.
Report User: It is the user who has authority to module reports.
Admin User: It is the user who gives all the privileges in the system and has access to everywhere.

Business Objects - Event Based Authorization

Each business object can be authorized under the following 4 titles. Workcube Business Objects – WBO (Business Objects) consists of functions (event) such as List, New Record, Update, Detail. Event-based authorization is done according to the following rules. Thus, while some authority groups can make new records or list the records, some authority groups may not be given the permissions to update or delete records.

Show Business Object to User – If Checkbox is selected, it will be prohibited.

Allow New Registration – If Checkbox is selected, it will be prohibited.

Update Record – If Checkbox is selected, it will be prohibited.

Unregister – Prohibited if Checkbox is selected.

Personal Data-Top Secret: Salary and advance accounts of employees are monitored in this category. Users who do not have the Personal Data-Top Secret authorization cannot see their full salary accounts in the debt statement.

To list the users connected to the Authority Group, they are listed by clicking the "user" icon in the right corner.

A new user is added with +. With the x icon, the user is removed from the authorization group.

Warning: Be careful when setting Workcube authority groups and associating users with authority groups. Bind authorization groups in accordance with the user's role in the organization. A person can be linked to more than one authorization group. Get help from Workcube experts when necessary for the design of authority groups for your business.
