Shifts

A shift is the sequential work of workers in a workplace. The shift system is used to determine what type of work a full day will be between certain hours.

Route: Attendance and Control > Other > Shift Definitions

When you click on the "+" icon on the shift definitions screen, a new registration screen will appear. From this screen, type the name of the shift and click the "Save" button.

Then the update screen will open where you can enter the details of the shift;

  1. Shift: The name of the shift you saved appears.
  2. Validity Date: It is used to determine between which dates the shift you have registered in the system will be valid.
  3. Shift Status: It is used to determine the status of the specified periods in the Saturday Shift, Pre-Shift Overtime and Post-Shift Overtime fields.
  4. Shift Interval: It is used to determine between which hours of the day the shift will be valid.
  5. Saturday Shift: It is used to determine the shift at different time intervals for the weekend.
  6. Pre-Shift Overtime: Allows the time period outside of the Shift Interval and before the start time of the shift interval to be determined as overtime. During this period, the working hours of the employees are reflected in the timekeeping as overtime.
  7. Post-Shift Overtime: Allows the time period outside the Shift Interval and after the end time of the shift interval to be determined as overtime. During this period, the working hours of the employees are reflected in the timekeeping as overtime.
  8. Weekend: Selection is made to determine which day the weekend holiday will be.
  9. Daily: It helps to complete the time you have set by typing in the box, plus this time, to 7.5 hours. For example, if you type 6 in the box, the system will detect it as 7.5 hours and complete the working time to 1 day.
  10. Daily: Calculates the time you have determined by typing in the box and the time under this time as overtime.
  11. When the "Exit after 11.59 PM is included in the previous day" is checked: It allows checkouts made after 12 o'clock at night to be added to the previous day, not the current day. This field is reflected in the timekeeping in places that work under the attendance control system.
  12. When the "Exclude the below hours from work hours" box is checked, the times are deducted from overtime in line with the definitions in this field and this is reflected in the timekeeping.
