Warranty and Product Tracking


Products with warranty and product tracking can be managed from a single screen. It is possible to follow the warranty and product tracking for a product via this screen.


Route: CRM > Service - Warranty > Service > Warranty and Product Tracking


Warning: Authorization is required in many modules such as processes, operations, products and service for Warranty and Product Tracking operations. At the same time, the necessary product definitions and parameters should be made as a preliminary process.

Warranty and Product Tracking Listing

On the listing screen, the products with warranty and serial number tracking can be listed, a new tracking record can be created and new transactions can be made by updating the existing records.

  1. Product: All products defined in the system can be selected from the Products screen. As a result of this selection, product-based warranty and product tracking results can be listed.
  2. Warranty Categories: Selection can be made here according to the definitions made in the Warranty Categories parameter. For example: Repair, spare part etc.
  3. Document No: Through here filtering by document number is possible.
  4. Lot No: Filtering can be done by product lot number.
  5. Starting Date / End Date: According to the start and end dates of warranty and product tracking, products between these dates can be listed.

    In the Warranty and Product Tracking list, the serial number, product, purchase-sale guarantee, purchase-sale guarantee period and the remaining warranty period on a day-by-day basis are available for each product. Some details can be viewed and transactions can be made in this basket area;
  6. Serial No: When the serial number associated with the product on the line is clicked, various serial number details can be viewed and operations can be performed. For more information, the article titled "Serial Number and Lot Tracking" should be read.
  7. Product: Many details about the product are in the form of a summary. Stock status, stock strategies, product additional information, related products and alternative product details can be viewed. With the help of the buttons on the top right, many actions can be taken about this product.
  8. Add and Update: A new warranty and product tracking can be made for a product or an update can be made for a listed product. Let's talk about these two topics in the next chapters.


Adding and Updating Warranty and Product Tracking

Warranty and product tracking for a product can be done, especially the serial number and lot number.

  1. Status: The warranty status of the product is selected as purchase or sale. Then choose where this product is.
  2. Method: It is selected whether this process will be done Consecutively or One by One.
  3. Product: The product for which warranty and product follow-up will be made should be selected.
    Warning: Make sure that the "Tracking" option is selected for the "Serial No" and "Lot No" options on the detail screen of the product you are processing. For more information, the article titled "Product Details and Product General Parameters" should be read.
  4. Quantity: How much of the product will be guaranteed and product tracking will be done is indicated here.
  5. Department -Location: Selection is made for the product according to the department and location.
  6. Purchase Warranty Start: The warranty start date of product purchase is entered.
  7. Purchase Warranty Category: The purchase warranty category is selected according to the parameter setting.
  8. Sales Warranty Start: Warranty start date of product sale is entered.
  9. Sales Warranty Category: Sales warranty category is selected according to the parameter setting.
  10. Period Extension: It is entered here for how long an extension will be made after the warranty date.
  11. Lot No: A lot number is entered for the product. Thus, if the lot number tracking is selected in the product detail, warranty and product tracking can be done with the lot number.
  12. Product Serial No: The serial number is entered so that warranty and product tracking can be done based on the serial number. Serial number tracking should be selected in the product detail.
  13. Product Serial Numbers: Multiple product serial numbers can be entered.

After the details are given, the warranty and product tracking for the product can be done by clicking the "Save" button.


For the product with warranty and product tracking, the update process can be done by going from the list. If desired, the details of this warranty certificate can be printed with the "Warranty Certificate Printing" template with the print button on the top right.


Adding Warranty Information from Product Detail

Go to the Product and Stocks > Products screen and go to the relevant product detail. Select More > Warranty Information from the options at the top right. From here, warranty information can be added for the product by following processes similar to the warranty and product tracking page.
