Period Transactions


Transactions made on Workcube are defined according to the period in which they are found. During the transition to a new working period, a new period is defined for the relevant function so that the functions can work. Or, the period process is completed by transferring the data of the current period to the new period.

Route: All Period Transactions screens to be made on the system are displayed collectively from the Dashboard > System > Period Transactions screen.

  1. Accounting Periods: This is the screen where the time between the start and end of the accounting process is defined. If a new accounting period is desired in the existing company, a new period must be opened.
  2. Employee Period Transfer: It is the screen used for the newly opened accounting period and the positions that were authorized in the previous period to be authorized in the new period.
  3. Currency Transfer: It is the screen that allows the currencies used to be defined in the new period that is opened. Warning: In order to avoid problems in transfer transactions, all foreign currency units used in the previous period should also be fully defined in the newly opened period.
  4. Account Period Transfer: This is the screen used for accounts registered in the previous period to be registered in the newly opened period.
  5. Contact Period Transfer: It is the screen used for contacts registered in the previous period to be registered in the newly opened period.
  6. VAT Rate Transfer: It is the screen used to define the VAT rates defined in the previous period as well in the newly opened period. 
  7. SCT Rate Transfer: It is the screen used to define the SCT rates defined in the previous period as well in the newly opened period..
  8. SCT Rate Transfer (Special Communication Tax): It is the screen used to define the SCT (Special Communication Tax) rates defined in the previous period as well in the newly opened period.
  9. BITT Rate Transfer: It is the screen used to define the BITT rates defined in the previous period as well in the newly opened period.
  10. Withholding Tax Rate Transfer: It is the screen used for the withholding tax rates defined in the previous period to be defined in the newly opened period as well.
  11. Product Period Transfer: It is the screen used for the product accounting codes defined in the previous period to be defined in the newly opened period. 
  12. Project Period Transfer: It is the screen used for the project accounting codes defined in the previous period to be defined in the newly opened period.
  13. Branch Office Department Accounting Definitions Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer branch and department accounting definitions to the newly opened period.
  14. Warehouse Period Transfer: It is the screen used for the accounting code defined in the warehouse location detail to be defined in the newly opened period. 
  15. Cash Account Transfer: It is the screen used to define the cash accounts in the newly opened period. Warning: Cash Account definitions and Balances are not transferred at the same time. Definitions should be done first.
  16. Budget Items - Budget Categories - Expense Centers Transfer: It is the screen used to define the budget item, budget category and cost center definitions defined in the previous period, as well in the newly opened period. Warning: If the transfer is not made, the definitions required for the budget-accounting transactions do not come to the new period and it is necessary to redefine the new period.
  17. Employee Account Definition Transfer: It is the screen used for the accounting and budget definitions of the employees, which were defined in the previous period, to be defined in the newly opened period. Warning: Cost center and budget items must be transferred before transferring.
  18. Account Current Account Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the current balances of the selected period to the first period of the relevant company after that period.
  19. Contact Current Account Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the current balances of the selected period to the first period of the relevant member after that period.
  20. Employee Current Account Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the current balances of the selected period to the first period of the relevant employee after that period.
  21. Check Period Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer checks defined in the previous period, at the turnover stage and whose due date is greater than the transaction date, to the new period.
  22. Note Period Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the notes defined in the previous period and whose stages are "In Portfolio, Collateral, Bank, Partial Collection, Protested, Protested Portfolio, Unpaid, Execution" to the newly opened period.  
  23. Endorsed Checks Period Transfer: ÖThis is the screen used to transfer checks defined in the previous period, at the turnover stage and whose due date is greater than the transaction date, to the newly opened period.
  24. Endorsed Notes Period Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the notes registered in the previous period, at the turnover stage and whose maturity date is greater than the transaction date, to the newly opened period.
  25. Bank Instructions Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the bank orders from the previous period to the new period, which were not transferred and the payment date in the period to be transferred is within that year.
  26. Inventory Carryforward Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the inventory movements of the previous period to the new period.
  27. Age of Inventory Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the inventory ages in the previous period to the inventory transfer receipts in the newly opened period. 
  28. Consignment Transfer: It is the screen used to transfer the Consignment Delivery Note Transactions in the previous period to the newly opened period. 
  29. Financial Statements: It is the screen used to transfer the definitions of the financial statements in the previous period to the newly opened period. 
  30. Works Centers Accounting Transfers: It is the screen used to transfer the Work Center Cost Centers in the previous period to the newly opened period. Warning: After this transfer, manual definitions made in the previous period will be deleted.
  31. Opening Receipt: It is the screen used for transferring the current balances of the period to be processed to the first period opened after that period.
  32. Closing Receipt: This screen provides automatic closing receipt for the selected accounting period.
