Service Work Groups


Service work groups are created to deal with service applications. The work group, which has a hierarchical structure according to the definitions made, resolves service applications.

Route: CRM > Service-Garantee > Service > Service Work Groups


Warning: In order to make transactions and definitions on the Service Work Groups page, the relevant transaction categories, processes, XML settings and parametric definitions must be made. At the same time, the user must be authorized on module basis.


Service Work Groups Listing

In the filtering section of the Service Work Groups listing screen, listing can be made according to branch, department, hierarchy and type. As a result of this listing, if there are defined work groups, they come to the list screen.

Clicking on the people icon reveals the hierarchical structure between the employees in the work group as a template. Click on the pencil button if you want to update the work group.

In the next section, let's talk about creating and updating a new workgroup. Click on the "+" button to create a new workgroup.


Creating and Updating Service Work Group

There are many definitions that can be made on the service work group creation registration screen. If some options are selected, various operations will be performed in the background.

  1. Selection Boxes: The "Active" selection box should be selected if this service group is active. With the "Show in Budget" option, the service work group is included in the budget related to the operations performed. With the "Online Support Team" and "Online Sales Team" options, the task of the service work group is defined through the system.
  2. Group Name: The group name is given from this field.
  3. Organization Details: Select the company, branch and department defined on the system, starting from the group presidency.
  4. Project: Service work group can be associated with a project.
  5. Sponsor: If this service work group has a sponsor, select this employee.
  6. The Manager and His Role: The manager can be selected from employee records. Details of this manager's role related to the service work group can also be given if desired.
  7. Parent Group and Hierarchy: The parent group selection can be selected based on another service work group that has been created. Warning: The record cannot be discarded without giving the hierarchy number.
  8. Type: Various selections can be made according to the parametric definitions made. Example: Team Leaders, Experts, etc.
  9. Description: If desired, a description can be entered for the service work group.

After the definitions, click on the "Save" button.

Now let's move to the update screen of this record and see what kind of definitions can be entered differently from the record screen.

Group Employees: Employees in the service work group can be added here with the "+" button.


Let's examine how the group employee is updated by giving details for the service workgroup.

Selection Boxes: Select whether this group employee is "Principal/Agent" or "Critical Position".

Role: Write the role of the group employee in the service work group.

Employee: Select one of the employees defined on the system from this field and define him/her as a group employee.

Type: Type selection can be made according to the parametric definitions made. Example: Leader, Expert, etc.

Work Group: The work group comes automatically.

Superior Role: Select one of the other defined work group employees if he/she is the superior of this group employee. Thus, the hierarchical order within the work group is ensured.

Sequence No: Enter the sequence number of the group employee.

Hierarchy: The position of the group employee in the hierarchy is indicated by numbering.


So, how to use this service work group after all definitions are made?

CRM > Service-Guarantee > Service > Service Applications page, work groups defined in the details of an application can be selected. Thus, service work groups that will carefully examine all kinds of service applications and perform maintenance operations are formed.
