Role Planning

It expresses how many positions (seats) there are in your departments, independent of the employees, depending on the organizational structure.

Route: Role Planning > Roles-Positions

Role and position information is one of the most important areas for Human Resources users.

Roles-positions;

It refers to how many positions (seats) there are in your departments, independent of the employees, depending on the organizational structure created in Workcube. Before the roles and positions are defined, it is important to determine how many positions your department needs depending on the workload for your future reports from the system.

Warning:

The Master option, which is displayed on the left in the screenshot above, must be selected for employees with only one position. Otherwise, the system entry of the person in this position is also blocked. If an employee has more than one position, one position must be selected as a master. This means the priority position for that person and the position where he/she logs into the system.

Users can change their positions instantly from Settings > Authority and Interface. In this way, they can follow the process and workflow notifications on a position basis.

Note: Positions work according to authorization groups. In other words, for each position you are assigned on Workcube, that position must be in an authorization group. It is not possible to transfer to a position that is not included in an authorization group.

Let's explain the screenshot below as follows;

After the Roles and Positions are defined independently of the employee, they are associated with the employee who should be in the relevant position, and the positions that are the 1st Supervisor and 2nd Supervisor of this position are selected.

If the relevant positions are associated with an employee, it is displayed as "Position Name – Employee".

Tip: After a person working in the relevant position leaves the job, his relationship should be removed from the position. The position will appear when you list vacant positions. When you hire a new employee for this position, if you associate the position with the employee, you will start the job with the same authority and responsibilities, and you do not need to redefine each new employee.

As long as you do not remove the leaving employee from the position, all your reports on a position basis will be reflected in the reporting as the position will still be filled.
