Production Requests

In Workcube, you can create an unlimited number of requests by associating them with an order, work center, product in order to produce the product or products you want and convert them into production orders.

Route: ERP > Production > Production Planning > Production Requests

You can create a material requirement list for these requests and send them to production in batch, as well as create a material requirement list by selecting the request you want from the listing screens, or send it directly to production. When you do this, the production order will be automatically opened.

At the same time, you can delete and update the relevant requests, go to the material requirement lists, download excel, and group by clicking the "Group" button. When you say group, the following section will open at the bottom of the page;

Note: You can modify the Production Requests page based on XML.

On the production requests page:

  • Production start/end date
  • How many units of product
  • Project
  • Work
  • And, the production to be made within the order can be controlled.

Creating a Production Request

You can create a new request by clicking the “+” icon on the Production Requests page. By clicking on the request details button, you can view the BOM of the product you have selected, as well as see the total unit requirement and inventories required for production. From this area, the system ensures that a work order is opened for all levels in the main product.

  • If you have specified an alternative work center, you can change the selection from the "Work Center" field.
  • If Permanent is selected in the Operation Type field, it performs the relevant work order on the relevant date without interrupting it. If partial is selected, it is realized by dividing.
  • Disassembly: If this box is checked, consumable components will be in inventory, and the main product will be out of inventory.

When you click on the Save button, a production request is created. Then, a production order can be given from the detail or production requests page.

What is the Difference Between Production Request and Production Order?

When you create a production request, the system does not reserve the product you want to produce and the materials you will consume, unlike the production order. It has no effect on the inventory account that can be sold. However, we can issue the order after we run the material requirement to them as an inward production request and complete the transfer process. Or we can change the orders with material constraints and provide material updates in the relevant orders and then publish the production order.

It is one of the first steps toward production created for a customer order or inventory. A production request can be created depending on the sales order, or the business can use the production request page to produce products for its own inventory.
