Competency Definitions


From the Competency Definitions screen, a form can be added for the Competency evaluation process on an employee basis. With this function, it is possible to evaluate how well the criteria expected on the basis of employee and competence are met.


Route: Role Planning > Competencies


1-Definitions made in these fields are explained as follows;

  • The active box ensures that the registered competency definition is active.
  • "Department Director", "Standard Competency" boxes can work with different setups on Workcube, you can select the ones suitable for the competency type from these boxes. For Example; By selecting the "Department Director" box, the "Target Competency Evaluation" forms related to the competency definition saved can be monitored by the user with the "Department Director" position.
  • Specify the relevant period in the Period Field. The period specified in this field works in harmony with the Performance > Target Competency Evaluation Records function. The questions in the definition of competency must be compatible in both periods in order to be able to be evaluated by displaying the questions in the definition of competency within the period in which the target competency will be evaluated. (When the Target Competency Evaluation of the employee for 2021 is made, the defined department and questions related to the department are not displayed for the competencies registered outside of 2021.)
  • In the Title field, you can specify descriptive detailed information about this competency in the Description field of the Competence title.

2-From this field, you can define the competency valid under Company, Branch Office, Department, Position Type, Title.


If you click the "Save" button after specifying the required information, the competence information will be saved.

NOTE: After the definition is saved, the position type, position, and employee become selectable from the e-profile card.


Adding a Form Associated with a Competency Definition


You can add a form to be able to evaluate Defined Competency information. To add a form, click on the "Add New Section" link in the upper right corner of the Competency Definition update screen.


When you click on this link, you will first see an area where you can specify the title information for the evaluation form. After filling in the required fields such as title, description, weight percentage, click the "Save" button. The section you added will appear at the bottom of the registered competency page;



Click the "+" icon to add a question. After specifying the question, number of choices, and scores in the popup that opens, click the "Save" button. You can update or delete the questions you have added with the help of the icons at the end of the line.
