What is Authenticator?

Devices or programs used in case of theft, access, or forgetting of passwords used in many transactions, especially in internet banking, are called Authenticator.

Authenticator generally generates a temporary password based on the user (such as 40 seconds), thus placing a barrier in front of their access, even if people other than the owner of the ciphermatic have somehow learned the user password.
