Top Level Units

With the Organization section, you can define top level units on companies. Top level units can be useful for group companies, holdings, as well as for different structures to which the company or companies will be affiliated. E.g; If you have more than one company and some are in the health sector and some are in the service sector, you can connect the relevant companies to these top level units by defining a top level unit called “Health” and “Service” for companies in different sectors.

Route: HR > Planning > Organization Planning > Top Level Units

On this page, you will see the screen where you can create the organizational structure and view the organizational charts. Click on the "+" icon on the page to register the top level unit.

In the top level unit definition screen, the information is indicated as follows;
  1. Display on Organization Diagram: If this box is checked, the defined top level unit will be displayed in the group presidency chart.
  2. Name: The name of the top level unit is specified in this field.
  3. Top presidency: If there is a group that the top unit you have added in this field is connected to, it should be specified in this field. If the top presidency is specified in this field, the unit you add will appear in the group presidency chart depending on the unit specified as the top presidency, otherwise, the group you added will appear as the top presidency. If there is no sub-unit belonging to the top unit added, this unit will appear in matte color on the group presidency chart.
  4. Hierarchy: You can specify the appropriate code for the hierarchy you will construct in your organizational structure.
  5. ExplanationYou can write the information you will specify for the created unit in this field.

After specifying the required information, you can save the top level unit by clicking the “Save” button.

You can update the top level unit you have added by changing the previously specified information. If you click the "Update" button after changing the information you want on the update screen, the last information you specified will be valid for the added top level unit. You can also use the "Delete" button on this screen to delete the top level unit you have added.

NOTE: If there is another unit or company connected to the top level unit, the "Delete" Button does not appear.
