Laboratory Operations


Laboratory operations is the page where laboratory tests are performed in order to control the model, model to be produced and the raw materials required for production.


Route: ERP > Sales - Distribution > Quality Control - Warranty > Laboratory Operations

These are transactions made in terms of compliance with customer requests. The durability and appearance of the product are not the only things that are important.

For example: The fabric that does not shrink, is not easy to wear and pilling is more useful. Breathable and dehumidified fabrics make consumers healthier and more comfortable.

It is important for a business to put its products to the test in order to achieve sustainable competitiveness in the modern consumer market.

The tests are done under certain standards. Some customers set their own standards. And test results are determined in line with these standards.

Laboratory Operations Listing


Let's examine the filter options on the listing screen of the Laboratory Operations page;

  • Search can be made by selecting the test definition and procedure in the analysis method on the listing screen.
  • "Laboratory Operations" is defined to a new model by clicking the plus icon on the listing screen.
  1. Current Account: When we want to search the tests defined in the current accounts, the current account is selected and the defined test transactions are sent to the account.
  2. Sampling Date: The test is listed by entering the sampling date of the model test.
  3. Analyzed By: The person who performs the analysis, the person who performs the test process is selected and the tests are performed.
  4. Analys Date: Relevant tests are listed by specifying test start and end dates.

Model Laboratory Operations Screen

On the lab operations page, the model is tested before it goes into production. These tests are determined and followed on this page.  

Laboratory Transactions registration screen;

  1. The process of the test is determined. The model to be tested is selected. Sampling person and date are required fields. The requester is determined.
  2. After filling in the required fields, the desired tests and procedures are added in the "Test Process and Parameters" section. Quality control definitions appear on the page that opens and more than one definition can be added by selecting. 
  3. The amount of the model to be tested is determined. Standard values determined for test definitions are entered. Lower and upper values are determined for the model. The reason for this is that the test result is determined by these values.
  4. Details of the test result can be written in the field with the test report.
  5. The model to be tested within the defined test definitions is performed in the "Stock Sampling" section. In this section, the model is selected by clicking the plus icon.

Warning: Test processes with defined parameters come from the quality and control test definitions.


The laboratory operations page is also accessed from the model screen. On the right side of the model screen is the area for the laboratory operations page. Test definitions can be made for the model by clicking the plus icon in the table.

Route: ERP > Sales-Distribution > Products and Stocks > Model Products

On the "Quality Control" page under the other section of the menu on the model screen, the control types (with parameters) selected in the product Quality Control Definitions section are displayed on the laboratory operations page.
