Credit Card Payment/Collection Methods Definition


Credit card payment and collection are among the functions offered by the Workcube Bank module.



You can define your credit card payment/collection methods by clicking the '+' icon via the ERP > Finance-Accounting > Bank > Credit Card Payment/Collection Method page.

Page Fields and their descriptions;

Active: It is required to be selected in order for it to appear in the Payment Methods options.

Bank Pays Immediately: If this option is selected, a single cash entry is made for Credit Card Account Transfers, even if the number of installments is entered in the payment method. If it is not selected, it assigns a record to the account transition day every month, equal to the number of installments. This option should be selected according to the desire of the company to use Workcube to follow the account transition processes.

Partner\Public\Private: If it is a payment method you want to use on the screens of your partner\public\private websites that you manage from Workcube, you should use these options.

Payment Method: It is used for the name you will give to the payment method, as many payment methods should be opened for which payment methods will be used for a bank, and if the number of different accounts/commissions/installments, etc. will be diversified, it should be multiplied as much.

Account: You must select the bank account to which you will associate this payment method. During the account transition process, it makes accounting transactions according to the accounting account of the selected bank account.

Virtual POS: For which bank's virtual POS the payment method is defined, that virtual POS type should be selected. Currently, only the banks we work with are defined. If it is a payment method you want to use on virtual POS screens, you must select VirtualPOS Type.

Number of Installments: The number of installments to be used in the Payment Method must be entered. For one-time bank transactions, "0" can be written or left blank.

Account Transition Day: It should be entered according to the number of days after the collection date, according to which you want the account transfer transaction to be written.

VFT Code: It is used in Maturity Different Sales for In some POS when you want to start such an application with your bank, you need to get the necessary information and VFT code from your bank, you can use it by opening new payment methods according to commission rates and entering this code.

Bank Commission Rate: In case of using the Payment Method, you must enter the rates at which your commission transactions with the bank will be calculated. Commission amounts are calculated according to this ratio in collection and account transfer transactions. It is not the rate reflected to the customer when withdrawing from his card. The commission account here is no longer used, the commissions will be kept in the account of the selected expense item when transferring to the account, it can be selected for informational purposes only.

Card Collection Commission\Rate: Card Collection Commission is used in 2 places. The first is that when making direct payment from the VirtualPOS screen in the finance menu of the partner portal, the customer adds a commission on the amount entered by the customer and reflects it to the customer, and this total amount is withdrawn from his card. In the partner portal, users can be entered if they want to be used for extra information purposes.

Card Collection Commission Account: If Card Collection Commission and Card Collection Commission Account are selected together, the employee calculates the amount entered according to the commission entered while performing credit card collection transactions on the portal and adds the current receipt to the selected accounting account.

B2B Commission Multiplier\Product: Calculates the amount of the order according to this multiplier at the end of the order stage in the B2B partner portal and adds the possible commission product selected with this commission amount to the order.

B2B Commission Rate: This rate is also entered on the order final page for demonstration purposes only, it is not included in the calculations, it is displayed for partner users if desired.

B2C Commission Multiplier\Product: Calculates the amount of the order according to this multiplier during the order finalization phase in the B2C, that is, public portal, and adds the possible commission product selected with this commission amount to the order.

B2C Commission Rate: This rate is entered on the order final page for demonstration purposes only, it is not included in the calculations, it can be displayed for end-users if desired.

Accounting Account: Indicates which accounting account the Credit Card Collection transaction will be written to.


All Virtual POS transactions you will make from the Partner\Public or Employee portal add a Credit Card Collection transaction to the system and create the Account Transfer Transaction lines. You can apply edit\delete\cancel options to these collections from Workcube screens. You can make changes on the real POS transactions on the bank's side from the user screens related to the user information given to you by the bank, the Virtual POS transaction does not offer integration for later. You can follow your transactions in the bank and Workcube comparatively.
