Production Design Parametric Definitions

Many parametric definitions such as your work centers, operation types, work schedules, pause types, BOMs, product features, quality achievements are made from the Production Design module.

Before using the Production Design Module, the following definitions should be made correctly by analyzing the operation well in line with the needs of the company.

Work Centers

Route: ERP > Manufacturing > Production Design > Work Centers

A Work Center is a production unit where one or more of the same type of work is done together, where one or a group of workers/machines work. It is located under Work Centers Production Design.

Work Centers can be managed as lower Work Center and upper Work Center.

If it is desired to be managed in breakdowns, it is sufficient to select the upper Work Center when defining the Work Center.

Defined Work Centers are added when designing the BOM.

Operation Definitions

Route: ERP > Production > Production Design > Operations

They are the process definitions that are carried out at the work centers and ensure that the product is ready. While defining the operation, you can define the operation code, the cost of the operation, how many minutes it takes, and the Work Center capacity/hour. In addition, you can add information about how the operation is done, such as a user manual to your operation definition. Usage: Here are a few examples of the operations of a furniture factory.

01-Cutting Operation

02-Sewing Operation

03-Painting Operation

04-Assembly Operation

05-Packaging Operation

Work Schedules

Route: HR > Personnel - Payroll > Attendance and Control > Work Schedules

Work Schedule must be defined in production. With the help of this parameter, you can save your work schedules based on your business, on a branch office or warehouse basis.

Pause Category

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Pause Category

The definitions made in the Pause categories are selected when adding Pause Types. The reasons why the production line is stopped are categorized.

Pause Types

Route: ERP > Production > Production Design > Pause Types

Pause Types: You can define in which situations the production is interrupted from the pause types. Meal, break, machine failure, electricity problem, special need etc.

Quality Control Definitions

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Quality Control Definitions

Quality control definitions allow you to set your quality standards. You can save categories by clicking the “+” icon.

The choices of the standard determined by the “+” icon at the end of the line of the saved category are entered as a result of quality control.

These choices can be made as tolerance or accept-reject. For this, "Get Tolerance, Accept, Reject Option" must be selected from the XML settings in the relevant popup.

The definitions made here are associated with the "Other > Quality Control" page on the top right of the details of the products whose quality is monitored, and the "Quality Control" page in the BOMs detail.

Quality Achievement

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Quality Achievement

The definitions to be made in this field are selected while adding the quality control results. With the color code, you can choose what color the parameter will be when choosing.

The defined parameters are used when entering the control information in the popup opened by clicking the "Quality" icon on the Quality Operations page.

Inspection Level

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Inspection Level

The inspection level is defined by the system as the level of quality control. You can define how many levels of control you will make in this area.

The defined inspection levels are used on the Other > Quality Control page in the detail of the product for which the quality is followed, and on the "Quality Control" page in the BOMs detail.

Nonconformity Source

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Nonconformity Source

Nonconformity Sources are identified on this page. As a result of the quality control, any of the nonconformity source definitions made while recording the nonconformity is selected.

Basic Input Types

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Basic Input Types

Alternative Product Questions

Route: ERP > Production > Production Design > Alternative Product Questions

In line with the variable definitions (alternative question and alternative product) to be made by the Production Planning Unit in the bill of materials, spec records can be created in line with alternative questions and answers for customers through B2B and B2C or in document records such as sales, purchases, which have basket templates. In order to use the "Specification from Alternative Questions" screen, alternative questions are added from the Production Design module beforehand.

The questions added here are selected on the ERP > Production > Production Design > Alternative Management screen.

Production Properties

Route: ERP > Production > Production Design > Production Properties

With the help of this parameter, property and variation are added to the product.

Saved definitions are selected on the Other > Product Properties page in the product detail. E.g; If you are a company that produces backrests and you want to add variations according to their colors, you can choose from the relevant page;
