Budget Transfer Request


You can request a budget transfer between your budgets on Workcube on the basis of cost center and budget item and budget transfer transaction is made according to this request.


Route: ERP > Finance - Accounting > Budget > Budget Transfer Request

It is also possible to make a budget transfer request from Intranet > Other Operations > Budget Transfer Request page.


Warning: Budget related processes, transaction categories and parametric definitions must be done correctly. Make sure that the user's authorization group definitions are made correctly in the budget module.


Budget Transfer Request List

Budget transfer requests on the system are displayed on this page as request number, requestor, responsible, process and date. Budget transfer requests of the selected user can also be listed by selecting the responsible.

Creating a Budget Transfer Request

It is critical to provide the right details to create the budget transfer request.

  1. Process: Stage selection is made according to the process definitions made for the Budget Transfer Request. For Example: Preparation, Executive Approval, Rejection
  2. Related Budget: Budget selection is made.
  3. Reference: Details about the reference can be given in this field.
  4. Request No and Requester: The request number comes automatically. The person who made the budget transfer request comes automatically.
  5. Responsible: Election of a responsible person is made.
  6. Request Date: Select the date when the request will be made.
  7. Description: A description of the budget transfer request can be entered.
  8. Budget Dashboard: The Budget Dashboard report is accessed with this button. The best approach would be for the user to request a budget transfer by examining the data here. For more information, please read the article titled "Budget Dashboard".
  9. Block:

Select the Cost Center and Budget Item in the "Requested Budget" and "Transferred Budget" fields.

Warning: The cost center and the added budget item must be associated with each other on the "Cost and Income Centers" page, otherwise the system will not allow it when you try to make a transaction. For more information, please read the article titled "Budget Categories and Budget Items" and "Cost and Revenue Centers".

Project and Activity Type selections can also be made if desired. The choices made here make the report to be generated in the Budget Dashboard more accurate.

Enter the amount in the Requested Budget field, and according to the Cost Center and Budget Item selections in the Transferred Budget field, the current available budget automatically comes to the "Available" field. This available limit is determined by the planning slips issued according to the cost center and budget item.

Warning: The amount entered in the requested budget cannot exceed the available limit in the transferred budget!

After selecting the Transfer Type as Income or Expense, click on the "Save" button to make a transaction request.


After the budget transfer request is created, "Transfer Receipt" can be viewed from the top right side and the "Go to Planning Receipt" button at the bottom right side can be used to record the planning receipt of the budget transfer request. Note: The budget must be defined in the company and accounting period in which the user works. Otherwise the system gives a warning.
