Job Definitions


In every business, there are authorities and responsibilities given to employees. In Workcube, this information is kept on the position card. You can access it by clicking on the Role Planning > Other > Job Definitions. When you click on this link, you can view and update the job definitions for the position type, if any, and also view, update or add new job definitions that have been added to the position card if it has been defined before.



You can define the authorities and responsibilities of the positions on the "Job Definitions" page in the "Role Planning" module.

Route: Role Planning > Job Definitions


  1. Active: In order for the defined information to be used, the active box must be ticked. Likewise, if it will not be used yet, you can define it by unchecking it.
  2. Position: Select the positions for which the information defined in this field will be valid.
  3. Position Types: Position types for which job definition will be made are selected from this field.
  4. Department: The department is selected.
  5. Title: In the Title field, the title information about the job definition is entered. You can enter it as Position Name.
  6. Define job definitions, authorities, and responsibilities from this area.

NOTE: The definitions can be updated, but if an update is made, the changes made here also update the job definitions information defined in the position type.
