Deduction Application from Fixed Amount in Execution

An executive deduction is a certain amount of deduction from an employee's salary due to debt. In accordance with the Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, the employer is obliged to deduct a certain amount from the wages of the employee for whom a foreclosure decision has been made.

Route: HR > Personnel-Payroll > Payroll and Timekeeping > Executions for Debts

You can take a look at our "enforcement practices" document before proceeding with the deduction of a fixed amount in enforcement.

A fixed amount can be deducted upon the employee's request, instead of the rates specified by law (1/1, 1/3, 1/4).

In this case, the "execution rate" is selected as a constant in the execution detail.

If the "execution rate" is selected as fixed, the "fixed amount" input is automatically displayed.

Afterwards, the "fixed amount" to be deducted is determined.

After the "execution amount" and "execution process date" are entered, the registration is performed and the "acceptance" checkbox is marked on the update screen.

Payroll and Timekeeping Review

The salary definition of the employee was made based on the gross wage of 10.000 TL.

For example, let this employee have an execution amount of 11,000 liras and the execution date should be determined as January. When the fixed amount is entered as 2,500 TL, a deduction of 10,000 TL is made from 4 x 2,500. The remaining amount of 1,000 liras is below the fixed amount determined. Due to the open execution, the remaining amount in the following 5th month, ie 1.000 lira, must be deducted.

(January, February, March, April 2.500 TL ) ( May 11.000 - 10.000 = 1.000 TL)

Below, the amounts reflected for the enforcement deduction in the January payroll can be seen on the right.

Things to pay attention:

  • Even if the deduction amount is fixed, if the remaining balance is lower than the deduction amount, the entire amount must be deducted in the following month.
  • After a performance is recorded, the "Accept" box must be ticked. Otherwise, it will not be reflected in the timekeeping.
