How to create Website pages on Protein?


New pages can be added to our site created on protein by following the steps below.


Access to the site: The development interface of the site is accessed by selecting the site or site to add pages from the site or sites created on the protein development environment. As seen in the image below, the process of adding a new page is started by pressing the "+" button on the box named "Pages".


Adding page definitions: There are "Definitions" and "Designer" Menus on the page insertion box. Page definition is done by filling in the relevant sections via the Definitions menu. If you want the page to be active, the "Active" part should be ticked. Otherwise, even if the page design is completed, it will not be on the site. Title and Url information for the page is filled. Url is the page-specific part that will be placed at the end of the site domain name.

If the page is wanted to be related to a Workcube Object (WO), the desired WO can be added with the "Related WO" option.

If the page is considered in a multilingual structure, the Language selection is left blank, but if a language-specific page is desired, the language selection should be made. The type of page (Public, Career Portal, For Accounts Only, For Contacts Only) is selected.

If you want to add meta tags for the page, they are added to the "Meta Description" and "Meta Keyword" sections. Again, for each page structure, if there are scripts to be added to the Header and Footer fields, they are added to the area specified in the image. Appropriate schema structure is added from the options for the page.

The templates and layouts we previously created in the "Templates" section on the right side of the site development home page are selected from the options in the "Layout" and "Template" sections in the image. Finally, the page definitions are completed by selecting the desired option from the options for Security.


Page designThe page design section is accessed via the "Designer" menu. Here are the "Widgets" and "Page" sections. Sections are created from the page section with the box logic for the page. First, a column is added with "Add Row", then the column or columns for this column are added with " Add Col".

The widget to be used is added to the created columns from the "Widgets" section on the left by drag and drop. The widget to be removed is removed by dragging and dropping it to the empty part under "Widgets".

In the image below, there is more than one column in the row and there is a widget in the column.



Adding the page as the home page: If the created page is desired to be the home page, action is taken on the Site development home page > Definitions > Language and Currencies menu. In the Language/Path/Home page section, the URL of the page that is desired to be the home page for each language is added to this section and the update is made with the Update button.

This completes the page creation process over the protein.
