Workcube and Git

Workcube is a large community with its employees, business partners and users. Main product development is carried out by Workcube, and special developments for user needs are made by authorized business partners.

Git is the most widely used platform in the world for managing software projects and versions. Workcube employees and business partners are included in the same development team.

Each Workcube version is a Git Repository, and the Workcube installation installed for each client is a Git Branch.

Experts who want to use Workcube Git architecture on BitBucket cloud and with SourceTree management panel use Git over MS Visual Studio Code.

Git, SourceTree, and MS Visual Studio Code are open platforms. Take advantage of open sources to install and run current versions.

Things to do for Git before Workcube Installation:

  1. Install GIT on the server where you will install Workcube.
  2. Install SourceTree on the server where you will install Workcube.
  3. Become a BitBucket member to download Workcube files.
  4. Download the files using SourceTree with the access authorization granted by Workcube.

Warning
Do not forget that Workcube is a website and you should install your files in the same directory as Git, as you would a website in the correct directory.
