Cash Deposit and Withdrawal


Bank deposits and withdrawals can be made on Workcube.


Route: ERP > Finance - Accounting > Bank > Cash Deposit

Warning: There are some definitions that must be made before depositing and withdrawing money. These are collected under 3 headings as transaction categories, cash accounts and bank accounts. 

First of all, go to the details of "Cash Deposit" and "Withdrawal" transactions from the Dashboard > BPM > Transaction Categories page, and select the checkboxes for the accounting and budget transactions. Thus, it enables the transaction to perform accounting and budgeting transactions.

Afterwards, ERP > Finance - Accounting > Cash > Cash Acccounts must be defined. For detailed information, you can read the article titled "Cash Management".

Finally, ERP > Finance - Accounting > Bank > Bank Accounts bank account definitions should be made. For detailed information, the article "Bank Account Definitions" can be read.


Cash Deposit and Withdrawal Transactions

After making the necessary definitions, deposits and withdrawals can be made. There are some details to be able to make deposits and withdrawals;

  1. Transaction Type: Transaction type can be selected, as stated at the beginning of the article, if you make your transaction category definitions appropriately, you can perform the transaction. It is a required field to be selected.
  2. Cash Account: It is possible to choose from the cash accounts created by defining it. It is a required field to be selected.
  3. Bank/Account: The defined bank account can be selected. It is a required field to be selected.
  4. Project: The project related to the transaction can be associated.
  5. Document No: Document number can be entered.
  6. Date: The date of the transaction can be selected. It is a required field.
  7. Amount: The amount of the cash deposit or withdrawal can be entered. It is a required field.
  8. Amount in Foreign Currency: The amount of foreign currency amount can be added.
  9. Money Deposited By: The depositor can be selected.
  10. Explanation: Explanation about this cash deposit or withdrawal process can be written if desired.
  11. Transaction Currency: Transaction currency is selected. The currency of the transaction must be compatible with the currency types of the cash account and bank accounts!
  12. List: With this button, you can go to the list screen to view the withdrawal and cash deposit transactions.
  13. Save: After entering the transaction details, the transaction is performed by clicking the save button.


Note: In the withdrawal process, there is also a branch office option that can be selected differently according to the cash deposit process.

Warning: Cash deposits and withdrawals are made according to the selected transaction, cash account and bank accounts. After this process, accounting and budget processes take place in the background in accordance with these.


Cash Deposit and Withdrawal Listing and Update

Listing can be done by selecting Withdrawal or Cash Deposit transactions as "Transaction Type" from the bank transactions filtering options.


In the list, bank transaction has details under the headings of order, document number, date, posting date, transaction category, description, branch, project, account to account, expense amount, expense currency, debit, debt currency, credit, credit currency in the basket field. To view the details of the transaction, a selection is made under the transaction category in the basket area.

If desired, the list of these transactions can be opened as a Google spreadsheet, Excel, Word, and PDF with the help of the button on the top right of the banking section. It is also possible to send this transaction list as an e-mail and to print it out.


In order to view the offsetting receipt of the transaction you have made, you can view the offsetting receipt by clicking the button at the top right in the detail of the transaction.
