Service Management XML Settings


Service management covers processes such as maintenance, repair, and technical support related to after-sales products and services. With the Workcube Service Module, you can control what kind of service is provided to which customers for which product or solution, and which service terminates in what condition.



XML Settings determines page-specific operating rules.

You can access the XML Settings by following the Dashboard > System > Page Settings route on the relevant screen.



Listing Service Applications XML Setup

1 - Should the services be printable?

If Yes is selected, registered service applications can be printed.

2 - Applications where I am on the business partner team

If Yes is selected, when the listing is made only the applications that you are in the business partner team will be displayed.

3 - Listing by Micro Region Code

The Micro Region Code option allows users to see only the subscriptions in the micro region code for which they are authorized in sales and distribution organizations that manage sales teams with micro region code. Selecting "Yes" activates this control.



Adding-Updating Service Applications XML Setup

1 - Assign business partners by region

When Yes is selected, the user can only assign business partners to members in their own micro-regions.

2 - Specify other applications belonging to the member

If Yes is selected, the other applications field belonging to the member appears in the application detail.

3 - Applications where I am on the business partner team

For this parameter to work, an employee is first added to the account team.

If an account is added to the business partner section of the Service Applications and this XML parameter is marked as yes, no employee other than the team members can view this service application.

4 - Application date and acceptance date may be equal

If No is selected, the application date and the acceptance date cannot be the same. The system warns and does not save/update.

5 - Let the person performing the operation be selected in service operations

If Yes is selected, the person that performs the product service operations can be selected.

6 - Price cannot be changed in service operations

If Yes is selected, price changes cannot be made from product service operations.

7 - Enter the quantity in service operations?

If Yes is selected, the quantity field will be opened in product service operations.

8 - Enter units in service operations?

If Yes is selected, the unit field will be opened in service operations.

9 - Should the accessories come from the parameters?

If Yes is selected, the selection is made from the accessories defined on the Dashboard > System > Parameters > Service Accessories page. If No is selected, the accessory is written manually.

10 - Should the product be transferred to the subscription in service operations?

If Yes is selected, “Transfer to Subscription” option appears on the product service operations page.

11 - Enter Detailed Test Result?

Choose "yes" to be able to enter detailed test result.

12 - Select multiple subcategories?

If Yes is selected, subcategory and sub tree category parameters are added to the category while applying for the service.

13 - Connect workgroup to service?

If No is selected, the workgroup field that appears in service applications will not appear.

14 - Match product categories and failure codes?

In order for this parameter to work, firstly, when defining the failure code, its relationship with the product categories is established. Depending on the product category of the product selected in the service detail, the failure code is automatically displayed.

15 - Should the service operations depend on the product category in the service lines?

In order for this parameter to work, first of all, when defining product service operations, its relationship with product categories is established. In product service operations, the service operations depending on the product category of the selected product are received and the selection is made.

16 - Bring the product service operations?

If Yes is selected, the "Product Service Operations" field is displayed in the application detail.

17 - Bring the Subscription Product Plan?

If Yes is selected, the "Subscription Product Plan" field is displayed in the application detail.

18 - Bring the follow ups?

If Yes is selected, the "follow ups" field appears in the application details.

19 - Calculate prices from subscription product plan?

If Yes is selected, it will fetch the prices from the product plan of the subscription selected in the application. For this, the product selected in the subscription must be the same as the product selected in the service. In this way, subscription-dependent price lists can be used in service applications.

20 - Bring the activity and duration?

If Yes is selected, activity and duration information is displayed in the time spending field on employee basis in the application detail.

21 - Time spendings on employee basis

If Yes is selected, the employee-based time spendings field appears in the application detail.

22 - Create a task record for the staff?

If it is selected as yes, it will automatically open a task record for the selected staff while the application is being registered. This parameter only works in addition.



Service Operations XML Setup

1 - Show Accessories

If Yes is selected, the accessory field will appear in service operations.

2 - Bring only Items Included In Inventory

If Yes is selected, the products with the checkbox included in the inventory are displayed in the product detail.

3 - Select Return/Change

If Yes is selected, the operation type field will appear in service operations. In this way, it can be selected that the product is returned or changed.

4 - Update Stages in Row

If Yes is selected, row-based stage changes can be made on the update page.

5 - Update Package

If Yes is selected, the definitions made in the package area can be updated after the registration process.

6 - Bring Product Return - Reject

If Yes is selected, Product Return - Reject field is displayed in service operations and the Product Return - Reject can be selected.

7 - Reference and Customer

If Yes is selected, reference and customer fields are opened.

8 - Show Unit Price

If Yes is selected, unit price field is displayed on the lines.

9 - Return Promotional Products

If No is selected, the products given as promotional products will not be returned.

10-  Add Tracking on Change Products

Choose "yes" to add tracking on change products.

11 - Stages to Add Changed Products

The IDs of the relevant stages are written.

12 - Maximum of How Many Campaigns Before Can Returns Be Entered?

How many campaigns before the return is requested can be defined in this field.

13 - Get Product Barcodes

If Yes is selected, the product barcode appears on the service update screen.

14 - Unlimited Change?

If Yes is selected, there is no change limit in service operations.

15 - Bring inventory Code?

If Yes is selected, the inventory code is displayed on the service update screen.

16 - Bring Special Code?

If Yes is selected, a special code will appear on the service update screen.
