Product Parametric Definitions

The Product Management module is the module in which information records are kept and managed for the final products and/or services sold within a business, and the inputs supplied such as products, semi-finished products, spare parts, raw materials, and services.

Before starting the product transactions, all parametric definitions to be used within the company regarding the Product in the Product and Stocks module in Dashboard > System > Parameters must be made.

Product Category Management

Route: ERP > Sales-Distribution > Products and Stocks > Product Category Management

It ensures that all products purchased and sold by the enterprise are categorized and managed by the related company and responsible persons. Workcube allows you to categorize your products by specifying categories for your products.

For example; Main category: spare parts; Subcategory: computer spare parts etc.

Click the “+” icon to open the main category.

The “+” icon at the end of the line of the opened category allows you to open a subcategory for that category.

The defined categories are then associated with the relevant product/service and the classification process is completed.

Units

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Units

Units must be defined for the related products in transactions (purchase, sale, shipping, etc.) that will take place with the products.

You can add units by clicking the “+” icon, and if e-Government products are used, you can enter the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe) standard and code of the units.

Brand

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Brand

This definition is used to define the top companies (brands) that sell or purchase more than one product under the same brand name or under different brands at the same time.

This function is especially used to measure the total business volume with the same company or brand and to make the necessary reports.

Tip: The code of the brand you entered becomes important with the option “Generate the product code linked to the brand?” in the Company Flow Parameters.

Model

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Model

Model definitions are the parameters that play an important role in the definition and classification of the product. You can save model descriptions, either unbranded or by associating them with a related brand identified.

Accounting Budget Code Groups

Route: ERP > Sales-Distribution > Products and Stocks > Accounting Budget Code Groups

It contains the accounting codes to be used in the accounting transactions of the products.

Thanks to the accounting code groups, instead of selecting the accounting code for each product detail one by one, it is possible to create a group in one place and reflect it to all products collectively.

For example; Raw Material, Finished, Semi-Finished, etc.

Product Target Market

Route: ERP > Sales-Distribution > Product and Stocks > Product Target Market

It is used to define the Target Market on a branch office basis.

The list created here is displayed in the "Target Market" field on the product detail page and allows defining the Target Market for the product.

The target market can be defined geographically, or the market can be defined as the target group.

For example: Such as Germany, Nordrhein Westfalen Region, IT Managers, Socio-economic Status Groups D and E. all these can be defined as separate Target Markets.

Product Configuration

Route: ERP > Sales-Distribution > Product and Stocks > Product Configuration

The product configurator allows the user to shape the products in a category based on their properties.

Product Additional Info

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > Additional Info

It is used to provide additional information about the product.

Additional info parameters must be defined for this feature, which affects the product detail and update pages.

PIS Categories

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > PIS Categories

A "PIS header - code" refers to a system onboard to be generated. Weapon Systems, Cooling Systems, Propulsion Systems, etc.

PIS (Personnel Information System) Codes

Route: Dashboard > System > Parameters > PIS (Personnel Information System) Codes

Since the PIS codes name each system on the ship to be produced, the cost and pricing processes of these systems are carried out over these codes. PIS codes are used when giving prices and/or bids, entering a tender, and determining budgets.

Properties

Route: ERP > Sales-Distribution > Product and Stocks > Properties

Product feature definitions are used to define different features and variations (color, size, scent, etc.) related to products.
