Production Design

Many parametric definitions such as your work centers, operation types, work schedules, pause types, BOMs, product features, quality achievements are made from the Production Design module.

Before starting the use of Production Planning and Production modules, all system settings, workflows and parametric definitions related to production must be made in the system.

The production design module works integrated with the Product Management module. Before proceeding to the production design, all manufactured products, raw materials, and consumables must be defined in the system as products.

Components of the Production Design Module

  • BOMs
  • Work Centers
  • Operations
  • Revisions
  • Alternative Management
  • Pause Types and Categories
  • Quality Achievement and Quality Control Categories
  • Production Feature and Variation Definitions

Features of the Production Design Module

  • Define an unlimited number of work centers and hierarchies
  • Unlimited operation definition
  • Finite and infinite capacity selection in work centers
  • Energy consumption at work centers, cost of workers/hour, number of workers, adjustment time/average year capacity
  • Defining centers/hour cost information
  • Management and tracking of product specifications, alternative questions, and pause types
  • Associate work centers with physical asset
