Serial Number Warranty Tracking on Delivery Note


Serial number and product warranty tracking can be done from the prepared purchase and sales delivery notes. When the products with the "Serial numbers tracking" box selected in the product detail are added to the product basket on the purchase and sales delivery notes, the barcode icon showing the warranty information of that product is displayed on the upper right side of the screen.



You can check the "Serial Number and Lot Tracking" content to learn about the general operation of "Serial and Lot Transactions".



When you click it, the “Serial and Lot Transactions” page will appear. The sales record of the serial numbers of the products that have not been registered cannot be made. In this case, the system will warn you. You will see your products as a list on this page that comes up. In order to register the serial number for the product you want, you need to click on the barcode button on the right side of the relevant product.



NOTE: You can go directly to the serial no warranty page with the barcode icon at the beginning of the product basket in the delivery note.


Serial Number Creation Page



On this screen, there is detailed information required to create a serial number. This information is explained below;

1-Document No: From which process the product was registered to the system, the document number on this process

is displayed.

2-Transaction Type: From which process the product is registered to the system, this process information is displayed.

3-Method: It refers to the method for the serial number to be created. Here you can choose 4 different ways.

  • Consecutive: If this option is selected, the serial number to be created will be increased sequentially.
  • One by one: If this option is selected, a box will appear at the bottom of the screen for you to manually enter the serial numbers.
  • File: If you select this option, you can automatically transfer from a document containing your serial numbers to the program by clicking the "Browse" button on the right side of the document below. In other words, it is used to record your serial numbers on a document.
  • Lot: By lot number.

4-Increasing Type: This is the section where you will choose from where you want to increase the serial number you will specify manually below. It is possible to increase serial numbers from the start, middle and end.

5-Total Amount: It comes automatically, shows how many records there are.

6-Number of Records: By default, it comes in the same number as the record amount. This is the section where you specify how many products you want to give serial numbers.

7-Start of Warranty: Indicates the warranty start date of the product.

8-Warranty Category: It is used to give a warranty category, the appropriate warranty amount is selected.

9-Document: As explained above, when the file is selected as the method, it is the section where the file from which the serial numbers will be obtained is specified.

10-Lot: This is the field where you can give the lot number.

11-RMA No.: Enter the RMA No from this field.

12-Product Serial No: This is the field where you will specify the serial numbers in 3 steps. As explained above, the values you enter here will start to increase from the start, middle, or end according to the increasing type you have chosen.


Serial numbers will be created automatically when you click the “Save” button after entering all the information.



Serial numbers created in this field are displayed. You can update serial numbers. To do this, click inside the relevant area, make the desired change and click somewhere outside the area you are updating. The number will be updated.

You can download the data by clicking the data transfer button.

When you click this button, the warranty information screen will appear. You can see all the detailed information about the warranty here.

This button will take you to the "Add Barcode" screen.

If you click this button, you will be directed to the serial number search page.

This button takes you to the "Serial Number and Lot Transactions" screen.

When you click the Print button, you can get a printout from this screen.
