Cash Payment


Cash transactions can be performed and controlled by Cash Payment.


Route: ERP > Finance - Accounting > Cash > Cash Payment


Attention: In order to make the Cash Payment transaction, the transaction category definitions must be made correctly and the user must have authorization in the modules. Cash register definitions and payment types definitions should also be made. For more information, you can read the article titled "Cash Account  Management".

Cash Payment Transaction

Cash payment is made according to the given details. These are respectively;

  1. Transaction Type: Transaction type is selected. In order to be able to make a Cash Payment transaction, the "Current Transaction" and "Budget Transaction" options must be selected in the transaction category definitions.
  2. Cash: The cash is selected.
  3. Payment Type: Payment type is selected. Note: To ensure that this parameter is defined, the relevant parameter must be checked from the Control Panel > System > Parameters page.
  4. Current Account: Current account selection is made.
  5. Document No: The document number comes automatically, the user can enter the desired number unless there is a record with the same document number.
  6. Date: The transaction date is selected.
  7. Amount: Enter the transaction amount.
  8. Amount in Foreign Currency: The foreign currency equivalent of the transaction amount is automatically displayed by selecting it from the "Transaction Currency" section on the right.
  9. Project: If this cash payment is associated with a project, it can be selected.
  10. Physical Asset: If there is a physical asset to which the cash payment is related, this is selected.
  11. Paid by: The payer is selected.
  12. Explanation: Any description of this transaction can be entered.

The operation can be done by clicking the "Save" button.

Cash Payment: Cash Registration

If cash payments are to be processed in bulk, click the "Add Bulk Payment" button on the top right of the cash payment registration screen.

Here, after the main details such as transaction type, cash and date are given, the current account to which cash payment will be made from the basket area is added. After the transaction details are entered, a bulk cash payment is made.

If there is a ready-made CSV file, it can be added from the top right of the page. Thus, batch processing can be done without giving individual transaction details.


Cash Payment Listing and Update

After the cash payment is made, a listing can be made on the "Cash Transactions" page according to the filter options. By selecting the transaction type of the cash payment transaction and searching, a simple listing is made without the records of all other cash transactions.

To go to the details of the transaction, click on the colored part under the Transaction Type in the basket area. If you want to print out this process, the button at the end of the basket area can be clicked.

On the update screen, unlike the registration screen, the payment receipt of this transaction, related documents, and notes can be displayed on the upper right side.

Cash transactions can be examined in the current account after checking the deduction slip. For more information, the article titled "Current Account Statement" should be read.
