Physical Assets Parametric Definitions

All records from vehicles to machinery equipment and IT Assets are recorded in the Physical Assets module. An unlimited number of physical and IT assets can be defined. These assets can be associated with departments and contacts.

Before defining Physical Assets, necessary definitions must be made in Dashboard > System > Parameters.

Physical Assets Categories

You can classify your assets by defining an unlimited number of physical asset categories on the system. You can choose which asset unit your category definition will belong to, and you can process the same category in IT Assets and Motor Vehicles.
Physical Asset Subcategories
Defined physical asset subcategories are selected when defining the physical asset. You can define subcategories linked to parent assets.
Physical Asset Work Groups
You can define in which unit the physical assets you define will be used. The definitions made here help you keep track of the assets used in your units.
 
Purpose of Use
The unit of the physical asset -which you define- is selected. Then you can define for what purpose it will be used.

Place of Definitions

You can provide asset controls by recording the fields where your physical assets are located with the place of definitions.
Brands
This identification helps to identify the assets that are sold and purchased by determining the brands of the assets. With the checkboxes on the screen, you must also select the unit to which the brand is affiliated.

 

Asset Status

In this definition, you can record the use cases of your physical assets and make your asset tracking and control.

Reason of Allocation

You can determine the purpose and allocation of your physical assets allocated for use with this parameter,
