Shipment - Logistics Parametric Definitions


Shipment - Logistics Management allows you to execute and track all your shipping operations, enter unlimited number of shipping information, issue shipment orders mainly according to the routes and workloads of the orders, and combine them with warehouse/location information.

Shipment-Logistics is one of the most important and extensive modules on Workcube. In this module, which is of great importance for businesses, there are some parametric definitions for businesses to reflect their own functioning.

Before the module is put into use, all parametric definitions to be used within the company related to Shipment-Logistics must be made.

Warning: Parametric definitions must be made by Workcube experts. Parametric definitions by users who do not know the operation and domains of the pages may have negative consequences.

There are eight parameter definitions related to the Shipping-Logistics module.


1. Warehouse Rates

Warehouse Rates is the screen where businesses determine the rates of their warehouses.

After the registration is created on the screen above, the rates are entered in the registration detail as follows:


2. Warehouse Tasks

Defines the types of operations and tasks performed in the warehouse. It helps to ensure the functioning and order of the warehouses according to the rules.

3. Problematic Situations

Problematic Situations are the parameters selected when entering shipping results. You can determine the problematic situations in the shipment according to your operation and make the selection.


4. Error Status

Error Status are parameters selected when entering shipping results. You can define error statutes according to your operation.



5. Shipping Methods

From the shipping methods screen, you can define the shipping methods you use according to your operation. On the order screens, the methods by which the products will be shipped are added on this screen.

6. Shipping-Package Prices

Shipments work in coordination with Shipping Prices, Carrier and Shipping Method. You must predefine Shipping Prices for calculations.

Warning: When choosing a carrier on the bulk shipment screen if you receive “Please Check Carrier for Calculation (Price List)!” warning, you must include the carrier in the shipping price list.

7. Package Types

Package Types are selected when adding the shipping price. While the product is being shipped, the packaging selection is made among the package types added to this field.

8. Transportation Methods

The transportation methods valid in the business are defined on this screen.
